“Bailey” 2005 Buckskin APHA Mare
Bailey has been a part of this herd for nearly sixteen years. She came to Sheila as a three year old and has been through all of the chapters of Sheila’s own journey since 2008. Bailey is well known for her cool regard of new people- she likes to hang back and cautiously evaluate anyone that she doesn’t know entirely. She’s shy and needs some time to warm up. However, once you find connection with Bailey, she’s an absolute dream. She is a subtle communicator and notices how aware and attuned others are around her. For this reason, she makes an outstanding partner in learning to attune to our communication patterns and to learn to soften and to utilize clear and kind boundaries. At this stage in her life, Bailey is primarily used for liberty demos and ground work sessions. Her and “Goob” are expecting a foal in spring 2024, a first for both of them and an eagerly anticipated cross between a buckskin paint and a silver bay dun 💜
